Game Kiddy is a staple of the Chinese retro handheld world, with a line of cleanly designed devices that are accessible if under-powered by today's standards.

Shenzhen, China-based GPD Technology Co. has produced gaming hardware since 2013, today focusing on powerful laptop-style devices with full keyboards built in.

Computer manufacturer Lenovo enters the handheld gaming market with the Legion Go, a powerful Windows PC.

Miyoo

Miyoo (a.k.a. Bittboy) specializes in pocketable budget handhelds, making great entry devices for newcomers.

TRIMUI produces small, budget-friendly devices loved by many, despite their weaker performance.

Valve

Valve shook the handheld gaming world in 2022 with the Steam Deck, a powerful Linux device capable of PC gaming and high-end emulation.

The brainchild of retro enthusiast Lao Zhang, the ZPG line features lower-end devices with interesting and unique design choices.
