The “Retro FC” is one of Anbernic’s very first handheld consoles, released in different configurations (and slightly different shell molds) with a different number of games included – focused on the NES / Famicom systems. The first was the “Retro FC168,” with 168 games preloaded. This was later expanded to the “FC360,” the “FC400,” “FC500,” and others. Some came with a wired controller and A/V cables, allowing games to be played on a television.

Notes
  • The Retro FC500 is one model that came with a small, wired controller.
  • The numbers "168," "500," etc. in the product names refer to the number of games that were included in those releases. The same shell appears to have been used for other product SKUs with a different number of games (400, 168, etc.).
  • Anbernic's Retro FC was widely cloned by other manufacturers, leading to a lot of variety in size and components.
